I solved number 5. I just need help with number 3 now..

According to wikipedia: "With only 2 pence and 5 pence coins, one cannot make 3 pence, but one can make any higher integral amount."

So the answer is three..?

Well first things first I would convert the units from mixed fractions to improper fractions so they are easier to work with. Doing that we would get....

$\frac{20}{3}$ pounds of walnuts

$\frac{4}{3}$ pounds per container

Now that we've done that we can go back to determining how to solve the problem. There are 20/3 pounds of walnuts. To find out how many  4/3 lb contains, we would have to divide the pounds of walnuts (20/3 pounds) by the pounds per container (4/3 pounds):

$\frac{\frac{20}{3}}{\frac{4}{3}}$

Flip the denominator and multiply it by the numerator.

$\frac{20}{3} * \frac{3}{4} = \frac{60}{12}$

60/12 equal 5, so the answer would be that the walnuts fill 5 containers

First what you want to to do it set up an inequalty. 80% as a fraction is 80/100. You would set that equal to a fraction where x is the number in place of 80% over 1400.
$\\ \frac{80}{100} = \frac{x}{1400}$

After this step cross multiply and you get...

$(80)(1400)=100x$

Solve for x and you will get the answer, which is:

$x = 1120$

On the web2.0 calculator for this website, if you want to find the inverse sine of a value, you would type in "Arcsin". It would be the same for other trignometric functions (ex. Arccos, Arctan etc.).

Also hate to call you out KitKat.. but you kinda just copied and pasted from Wikipedia. Good stuff though, very helpful information
