I believe you just want to isolate pi  on one side of the equation???....if so, we have

V=pi*R^2*H-pi*r^2*H    factor out pi on the right....and H inside the parentheses

V = pi [ H*(R^2 - r^2)]       divide both sides by [ H*(R^2 - r^2)]  

V / [ H*(R^2 - r^2)]    = pi

We can use the sine inverse here.....we have

sin^-1(200/400)

sin^-1(1/2)   =    30°

2x^4-200x^2      take out the largest common factor  = 2x^2

Divide each of the oeiginal terms by this.....

So we have    2x^4/ 2x^2  =   x^2        and      200x^2// 2x^2   = 100

So  we write  the largest common factor  first, and then, inside a set of parentheses, add the two results we just obtained...and we have

2x^2 ( x^2 + 100)      and that's the factorization

If half of her boxes were destroyed and there are only 22 left......she must have had 44 right before the fire

So......subtracting the 7 that she bought last week.......she started with 37
