If I understand the question.....look at the following pattern :

1, 2, 4, 8, 16  = not sweet

2 ,4,8,16  = not sweet

3, 6,12, 24,(48,36,24)....the (48,36,24) repeats   = sweet

4,8,16 = not sweet

5,10,20,40,28,16 = not sweet

6, 12, 24, (48,36, 24) = sweet

7, 14, 28, 16   = not sweet

8, 16   = not sweet

9, 18, 36, 24, (48, 36, 24)  = sweet

10, 20, 40, 28, 16  =  not sweet

11, 22, 44, 32, 20, 40, 28, 16  = not sweet

12,24,(48,36,24) = sweet

It appears that the multiples of 3 will only generate  "sweet" numbers

There will  be     integer ( 50/3)   =    16  such "sweet" numbers from 1 - 50

No prob.....!!!

P(< 15 from Box A)  = (14/20)  =   7/10      (1)

P(even or > 25 from Box B)   = 

P(even from Box B) + P(>25 from Box B)  - P(even and > 25 from Box B)  =

(10/20) + (5/20) - (3/20)  = 12/20  = 3/5     (2)

So.....the probability of  (1) and (2)   =   7/10  *  3/5  =    21 /  50

Thus...it was an "indirect" "good job"......

Let x be the "feel good" hours

Then 8- x  must be the "tired" hours

And   

rate in  feel good hrs * feel good hrs  + rate in tired hrs * tired hrs  = total distance

20 * x  +    12 * (8 - x)  = 122     simplify

20x  + 96  - 12x  =  122

8x + 96  = 122     subtract 96 from both sides

8x  =  26       divide both sides by 8

x  = 26/8  =  13 / 4  hrs   of  "feel good"....LOL!!!

I don't expect you to know this, but it comes in handy for problems lof this type

60 mph   =  88 ft sec   ....so.... divide both sides by 4  and we get that

15 mph  =  22 ft sec

So..in one minute.....he travels

22 * 60   = 

1320 ft  in one min

Most expensive meal  =  ( 2.25 + 1.25 +  1.30) - .20  = $4.60

Next most expensive meal  =  (2.25 + 1.05 + 1.30) - . 20  = $4.40

Next most expensive meal = ( 1.80 + 1.25 + 1.30) - .20  = $4.15

I think this works

sqrt (1) + sqrt (4) + sqrt (9)+ sqrt (16) + sqrt (25)  =  sqrt (f)

1  + 2   +  3   + 4   + 5  =  sqrt (f)

15  = sqrt (f)      square both sides

225  = f

OOPS...I forgot...."f" has to be an integer, as welll!!!!
