2 + 2 = 4
Example:
oo + oo = oooo
1/5 + 1/4 + 3/8
First you want to have all the numbers with the common denominator, which would be 40
8/40 + 10/40 + 15/40
Now add them all together
33/40
And you cannot simplify that so it is your final answer!
A linear inequality is an inequality which involves a linear function. A linear inequality contains one of the symbols of inequality... such as < or >
.666
666/1000
2/3
3/2 ÷ 1/6
Use the recipricle and multiply
3/2 x 6/1
Multiply across
18/2
Simplify
9
Hope this helps :)
Thank you, CPhill! Proportions are my favorite thing to solve in math :)
35/100 = x/90 (Since you dont know what is of 90, the x is there)
Cross multiply
100x = 3150
Now divide by 100 on both sides
x = 31.5
And there's your answer! :)
2 + 2 = 4! Think of it as : Sally has 2 cookies. Joe has 2, also. Joe gives Sally his 2 cookies. How many cookies does Sally have?
(it said to enter a more detailed answer) :)
