If a jar has the volume of 104 in, and the candy has an base area of 3.14 times 0.25 in squared and a height of one inch,how many candy can fit in the jar??

Well.....each "candy" must be cylindrical in shape and has a volume of

pi x r^2*h = pi x .25 * 1 = .25pi in3

And since the jar has a capacity of 104 in3

Then the number of candies it will hold = 104 /( .25 * pi) ≈ 132 candies
