Is there a way to solve this for a number? I don't understand how to solve this once you get to 15+2x=x^2

15+2x=x^2       Subtract 15 + 2x from each side, we get

0 = x^2 - 2x - 15     Now, let's factor the right side

0 = (x -5) (x +3)      And setting each of these to 0, we get

x = 5  and x = -3

And that's it!
