-3/4y = -15/16 divide both sides by -3/4

y =(-15/16) / (-3/4)

y =(-15/16) x (-4/3)

y = 60 / 48

y =1 1/4

-3/4y = -15/16 Find y !

$-\frac{3}{4y}=-\frac{15}{16}$                  

$3= 4y\times \frac{15}{16}$       

$4y=3\times \frac{16}{15}$                             

$y=\frac{3 \times 16}{4 \times15}$

${\color{blue}y=\frac{4}{5}}$    !
