on the home work I got the question In a word game you choose a tile from a bag replace it and then choose another if there are 28 vowels and 12 consonants what is the probability you will choose a consonant and then a vowel.

This is given by ...  (probability of consonant on first draw) x (probability of vowel on the second draw) =

12/40   x   28/40  =

3/10  x  7/10 =

21/100
