Simplify please!!!!

Simplify this expression : -3x^3+5x+2 / x^2-1

$\frac{-3x^{3}+5x+2 }{x^{2}-1 }$ = $\frac{\left(x+1\right)\times \left(x+0.5\right) \times \left(x-1.5\right) }{\left(x+1\right)\times \left(x-1\right) }$  = $\frac{ \left(x+0.5\right) \times \left(x-1.5\right) }{x-1 }$

Using long division:

Quotient = -3x Remainder = 2x+2

Therefore $\dfrac{-3x^3+5x+2}{x^2-1}=-3x+\dfrac{2x+2}{x^2-1}=-3x + \dfrac{2}{x-1}$
