You really DO deduct points! This should KOOL the Aid.

Considering all, he did well in plagiarizing Sir Cphill , instead of Her Majesty, because offences against Royalty are (apparently) not pardonable.

Maybe KOOL-AID could petition for a pardon on the grounds that “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.”

The minus eight points is for Royalty, for the Seigneur its only minus six.

It seems that ND did not actually commit the infraction. Close one, ND. Being a Ninja, you, of all persons, would understand the consequences!

The equation to figure out the area of a circle is

A = (pi)r2
A = (3.14)(5) 2
A = 3.14(25)
A = 78.5

There you go, our area is 78.5 cm!
It's at 3 significant figures so that's the final answer.

Oh I just noticed that kitty answered this here already: http://web2.0calc.com/questions/what-is-the-area-of-a-circle-if-the-radius-is-5cm-to-three-significant-figures

We got the same answer, so our answer should be right. :)

Duplicate answers require the deduction of 8 points.

However, Kitty is a Princess, so she can give pardons.

Not necessarily, Anonymous.......here's a pretty good "duplicate" answer.......word for word !!!

http://web2.0calc.com/questions/an-empty-tank-has-a-capacity-of-55-2-litres-water-flows-from-a-tap-a-at-3-6-litres-per-mimute-and-2-4-litres-per-minute-from-a-tap-b-tap-a-w#r6

Would you like to add your (-2) cents worth ???? (I believe that will get us to around the -8 mark...)

Thou are the one who said "offences against royalty are unpardonable", are thou not? So why doth thou add the word "apparently".  I thought thee were a Queens Councillor since thee quotes the laws of the Medes and Persians. Am I but mistaken? Are thee an imposter?

This be introduced as a parenthetical thought, your Majesty. For that be Babylon and this be Camelot.

Perhaps, different laws define the intent of the offence –wither it be against Royalty in particular or society in general.

Plagiarism might be considered a compliment because of its imitative quality, while rudeness is grievous in all manner and eras.

There is an old joke concerning "plagiarism".........

Copying one source word-for-word is "plagiarism"

Copying multiple sources word-for-word is "research"
