what is the missing side of the hypothenuse in a right triangle if one side is 6.5 and the other is 12

Leg12 +  Leg22 = Hypoteneuse2 

(6.5)2 + (12)2 = H2

42.25 + 144 = H2

186.25 = H2       Take the square root of both sides

H ≈ 13.65
