Hey no problem. What you can use to not get confused is always combine minuses/plus with the front number. Also you can always imaginate a plus after every number. Just remember: +- is - and ++ stays +. 

-x    +3.   -4x.  +4    

This way you can also simplify it much easier.

x=0 says the answer is 0. An answer with no solution would be something like:

3=4  because its false.

No it does not.

Example:

f(x) = x + 0 and f(x)= x + 1 are parallel.

They have the same slope but not the same b.

Cant edit anymore, but here I finally got the code together:

\(\frac{3x^{2y^5}}{9x^{7y}} = \frac{1}{3} * \frac{x^{2y^5}}{x^{7y}} = \frac{1}{3} * x^{2y^5-7y}\)

If y=ax+b is the same they will cover each other.

I think there was a similar question these days.

A linear equation is the equation f(x)=ax+b

Why?

Because it shows the line between 2 points.

a is the slope and b is the intersection where f(0)

Supposely what you ment was:

3(x^2*(y^5)) / 9x(^7*y)

So the first think you can simplify is 3/9  to 1/3

Now u got both x^something and x^something left.

( x^(2*y^5) ) /( x^ (7y) )

Since they both have the same variable u can take the exponents minus. So u take the first exponent 2*y^5 - 7y

So the end answer is (simplified):

Now since u cant have 27.9 busses u have to round it to 28, and always to the bigger number since its a real life phenomen.

Eps answer is right, but if you didnt catched it you made a mistake in ur 2nd calculation.

-4(x-1) is equal to -4x+1 and not -4x-1

I read ur answer again. Well im sorry if i missunderstood you as my english aint the best, but normally u dont write a plus in front of numbers. The same doesnt count for the - thought.

-4x(+x-1)+-4(+x-1) is the same.

Every number or variable has a plus or minus assigned to it, thought you dont write the plus out all the time.

What you did was calculating the following:

-4x(+x-1)-(+4(+x-1))

U switched the plus and minus, and bracket out the 4.

The soccer field has the field of a rectangle.

To get the size you have to multiply a*b

The parimeter is 2(a+b)
