I don't know if it's an inverse variation problem or not, rosala, but it would have to be some sort of variation problem for us to give a solution.......basically, we're trying to find some constant and using that information to find the value of another variable

Simple interest is calculated according to:

I = Prt    where P is the amt deposited, r is the interest rate expressed as a decimal, and t is the time

So we have

I = (40000)*(.07)*(2)= $5600

The total amount accumulated after two years = 40000 + 5600 = $45600

.......look at it and see if you can do this one, based on that......

rosala....22!   is read as '22 factorial"  .....it represents the product of the first 22 positive integers = 22*21*20*.......*3*2*1

This is a really big number...so 22! * 22!  is WAY larger !!!....see my answer above.....

The volume of a square pyramid is given by:

(1/3)(area of the base)(height)......so we have...

(1/3)(230m)² (146.7m) = 2,586,810m³

A really "big" number  !!!

22! * 22! =  (22!)² = 1263377636044591724886240423994982400000000

y = kx    where k is the proportionality constant

So we have...

-1/3 = k(5)   .......divide both sides by 5 , we have

-1/15 = k      .......so when x = 10, we have

y = (-1/15)(10)  = -2/3

Note that as x gets larger, y gets smaller........

We can write W₁ as (NM)^(1/2) / (R+R₁)^(3/2).......so (W₁)^2  = (NM) / (R+R₁)^3

OK....so we have

Ek₁ = [(m)(R+R₁)^2] * [(NM) / (R+R₁)^3 ] / 2  = [mNM]/[2(R+R₁)]
