Yeah...think about this, DS. If we have 50%, that's just 1/2. And 1/2, as a decimal, is just .50......Notice that we just dropped the % sign and moved the (understood) decimal two places to the left.

I get something a little different here....at least two DK albums means we want to choose either 2, 3 or 4 of Diana Kroll's albums.

Choosing 2 we have C(5,2)*C(11,2) = 550 ways

Choosing 3 we have C(5,3)*C(11,1) = 110 ways

Choosing 4 we have C(5,4)*C(11,0) = 5 ways

So 550 + 110 + 5 = 665 ways

And that's the direct method

For the indirect method, we want to take all the possible ways of choosing 4 albums and subtract the ways that don't include choosing just one or none of the DK albums...so we have....

C(16,4) - C(5,1)*C(11,3) - C(5,0)*C(11,4) = 665 ways

4√7 times 5√7 = 20√49 = 20*7 = 140

5√-5 times 5√-2  = 5i√5 * 5i√2  =  25i²√10 = -25√10

Was that the issue???

The only other thing I see, Nataszaa, is that the ".2" inside is  "2/10'  = "1/5' and we would have a radical in the denominator..........

If so...let's see what we can do

(.6 lx³l y)√(.2 y)  =  (.6 lx³l y)√[(2 y)/ 10] = (.6 lx³l y)√(y/5)

We can multiply the numerator and denominator inside the square root by 5 and get

(.6 lx³l y)√[(5 y)/25] = [(.6 lx³l y)/5]√(5 y) = (.12 lx³l y)√(5 y)

See if this is correct!!!
