Every number has a square number that goes with it
There is an infinite number of numbers, therefore
there is an infinite number of square numbers
So i can't write them all for you because that would take an infinite amount of time.

Why is this causing you a problem?

There is an invisible times sign between the number and the ( bracket.

or, is it that you don't understand how to work with negative numbers?
We did a post earlier today on this, have a look at what we wrote.
There are 3 answers, you can use the one you like best.

Arr, I think I can do better than trial and error.
Look for two numbers that multply to 15*-14
and add to +1
That's really easy, it must be 15 and -14
Now split the middle term up into 15x-14x
that is
15x ² + 15x -14x -14
now factorise in pairs

=15x(x+1) -14(x+1)
= (15x-14)(x+1)

Guest, When you enter 15x^2 could you do it like this please 15x then press the 'sup' button that is located above the smilies,
the curser will go where you have to put 2, then move the curser to the end and keep going.
And this is what you will get 15x ²

Thanks I like Serena,
I never did any modulus arithmetic when I was younger. It is all completely new to me.
I really don't think I understand the concepts much at all.
I was told elsewhere that modulus arithemetic only used whole numbers and now you are introducing fractions.
I'll think about what you have told me, but I really don't get it.
Don't be too concerned, it is not important, I am only trying to fluff my knowledge out at the edges. Like the tassles on a mat.
If it is too difficult I lose interest very easily.
