ND's method is similar to "vertical" multiplication. I actually like this because the terms can be "lined up" nicely and we don't lose track of what we have. Variables with similar powers are "stacked" and then we just add or subtract their coefficients, as the case may be.

Points and "Thumbs" from me, ND....!!!  Your method of presentation is uniformly good.........

Sin(x) / n  = 6

You are correct, ND.....we could only give a general  formula, but that's all....we would have to know the number of sides.

2x - 2 - 7x = 18 - 5x - 20

-5x - 2  =  -2 - 5x      add 5x to both sides

Yeah....the sine relates the opposite and hypoteneuse.......that wouldn't work here....

Note that we know an angle and an adjacent side to that angle. And we want to find the opposite side.....

( the tower's height). The function that relates these is the tangent.

So we have....

tan(72) = opp/34      .......multiply both sides by 34

34tan(72) = opp ≈ 104.64m

Something like this:

AB is the horizontal distance from the base (34m) and BC is the height (104.64m) of the tower.

I 'preciate that heap of praise you laid on kitty<3.....I have some of them same thoughts myself!! I 'spect she'd show up more oftener on here if she warn't so busy with catnaps and such. And yer keyrect....we have a whole passle o folks on here that make this sight "go.'
