Let me add one thing to this answer......this is assuming a "linear" arrangement. It the fruit were arranged in a circle, the answer would be just 7! = 5040.

To see this, note that I could "anchor" one piece of fruit in any position on the circle. Then, I have seven ways to choose the next piece of fruit, 6 ways to choose the next, etc.

If the tangent is 1, the opposite and adjacent sides are the same. And in any triangle, if two sides are equal, the angles opposite those sides are equal. And since we have a right triangle, one angle = 90 and the other two would have to sum to 90 as well. And, since they're equal, each must be 45 (degrees).

Does that make sense???

We just need to take the sine of 75° and square it.

Let's look at this again......if the perimeter is 84, each side is 21. But that's not the length of a diagonal. The length of a diagonal is √2 times as long as a side. So the diagonal length is 21√2.
