Since it's an inscribed angle,  the measure of angle 1 is one-half the measure of intercepted arc AED.

But we need to first find the measure of minor arc AE, since it's not known.

This is given by subtracting all the other known arc measures from 360. So we have:

(360 - 84 - 38 - 64 - 60) = 114

And since  m arc AED =  m arc AE + m arc DE, we have

114 + 60 = 174

And 1/2 of this = 87 degrees =  m angle 1.

rosala points out that (1.020625)^16  means that we are to multiply 1.020625 by itself 16 times. (Actually, there are only 15 multiplications taking place. To see this, note that 3² means to multiply 3 by itself one time, not twice!! We can think of the exponent as the number of  "1.020625 's" that are to be multiplied together!!)

But zegroes is correct, too.....the calculator makes quick work of this!!!

"Slope" is defined as "the change in y"  divided by "the change in x"

Look at our two points......notice that y changes by 6 - (-4 to 2) - from the first point to the second.

And x changes by 9 - (-10 to -1) -  from the first point to the second.

So, our slope is just   6/9  or 2/3  !!!

And that's it!!

Then....just use the "trick" of multiplying and subtracting the diagonals....there are only two multiplications necessary!!......so we have

[0.7 * 0.45 * 0.15] - [-0.7 * 0.45 * .15]  = .0945
