How do you convert 52.05 L to scientific notation?

I'll do a different one or two for you

1) 390.6 = 3.906 x 10 ²
its 3.096 because you have to write the number so that there is only 1 non-zero digit in front of the decimal point
390.6 is a big number, bigger than 1, so the exponent will be positive,
the decimal place got moved 2 places so theexponent is positive 2
hence
1) 390.6 = 3.906 x 10 ²

2) 0.0006035 = 6.035 x 10 ^-4

3) 60300 = 6.03 * 10 ⁴

I'm doing a course in Udacity and on a test..

My answers were
a) -3x / (0,2) y = -3x+2
b) -1.5x / (0,1) 2y = -3x+2
c) -0.6x / (0,0.4) 5y = 2-3x (Put the zero out the front so it is more easily read)
d) -3x / (0,2) y+3x-2 = 0

but apparently they're wrong! The forum is completely dead and staff members don't give a cow about it, so can you guys lend me a hand on this?

You are nearly right.
You have to put them into the from y = mx+b
m is the gradient. - you don't want the x as well.
b is the y intercept. You have found the y intercepts correctly but the question asked only for the y co-ordinate. The y co-ordinate of (0,2) is just 2.

There are loads of great video clips on you tube - if you don't understand things this is a great place to look. (just a suggestion for future reference)

I changed your question a little because it was ambiguous.
Multiply all the denominators (bottoms) together and you get a common denominator. It is usually not the smallest one.

From the graph (and my own logic) this is what I conclude:

If b>0 then b ^-N >0 hence b ^-N * (-infinity) = -infinity

If b=0 then b ^-N =0 and 0 * (-infinity) = undefined

If b<0 and N is even then b ^-N >0 hence b ^-N * (-infinity) = -infinity
but
If b<0 and N is odd then b ^-N <0 hence b ^-N * (-infinity) = +infinity
my conclusion
b ^-N * (-infinity) = -infinity Where N is a natural number and b>0
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now if it was b ^-N ^ (-infinity) then the answer would be +infinity Where N is a natural number and b>0
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
