You have written it as take away t so I will look at it as that.
I had a quick look at this and no solution fell out.
I think you may have to estimate it using Newton's method of approximation.

firstly, if you add a negative number it is take away.

38/39 - 19/3 (you can probably just do it on the calculator now)

If you are doing it by hand you have to turn 19/3 into something/39
3*13=39, if you multiply the bottom by 13, you have to multiply the top by 13 as well 19*13= 247

so 19/3 = 247/39

38/39 - 247/39 = (38-247)/39 = -(247-38)/39 = -209/39 = -5 and 14/39

[z^-15*(z^5*x)^3 /8 ] * yx^3

=z^-15 * z^15 * x^3 * x^3 * y / 8

= z^0 * x^6 * y / 8

= yx^6 / 8

Now, this is the question that I think you intended
[ z^-15(z^5x)^3 ] / [8yx^3]

=[z^-15 * z^15 * x^3] / [8yx^3] (The x^3 on the top and bottome cancel each other out)

= z^0 / (8y)

= 1/(8y)

When you can't display fractions properly, you have to be very careful to use brackets so that the meaning is properly displayed.

Well, you could just press
Inv sin 0.5 on your calculator. (make sure it is set to degrees - there most likely be a little D at the top of your calculator screen.)

you should know that it means

Sin(theta)=1/2

Maybe you just know what the answer is or maybe you know what triangle to draw to work it out.

these answers only cover angles between 0 and 90 degrees.

I'll show you

0.06 x 28,000 = 0.06 X 100/100 x 28000

= 0.06 x 100 x 1/100 x 28000 Basically I have multiplied 0.06 by 100 and divided 28000 by 100. So that the answer won't change.

= 6 x 280

= 6 x 28 x 10 (You could probaly just answer from here but i just showed you how i might keep going )

= 6 (20+8) x 10

= (120+48) x 10

= 168 x 10

= 1680

No, changed my mind, I will give you a different question and then you can do this one by yourself

Find the line that is perpendicular to (-8,3) and ( -1,-5)

gradient = rise / run = (-5-3) / (-1--8) => -8 / (-1+8) => -8 / 7

The gradient (slope) of the perpendicular line is the negative reciprocal that is = +7 / 8

Hi Jass,
you can do it like this

it might be easier to remember if you think of it like this
You have (4x+3) lots of (4x-3) so therefore you must have 4 lots of BLUE BRACKET + 3 lots of BLUE BRACKET
(4x+3)(4x-3) = 4x(4x-3) +3(4x-3) and than expand the brackets separately, then collect like terms,then you are finished

OR

You might recognise this as a difference of 2 squares
The terms inside the brackets are the same only one has a + in the middle and the other has a - in the middle.
A difference of 2 squares question expands like this:
(a+b)(a-b) = a ² - b ²
You can do this on your example.
